MMSEG meetings will be noticed and open to the public. Meeting dates are tentatively set for the following days and times, and will take place at the JFK Library, Joseph Room, 505 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo.

Thursday, May 12, 2016, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Third meeting TBA

Based on the meetings, research and input from the MMSEG, and input received on Open City Hall, staff will develop policy recommendations for City Council consideration with an anticipated recommendation presented to the City Council by July 1, 2016.

Recommendations will aim to protect neighborhoods and the environment, while ensuring that there is an appropriate supply of medical marijuana for qualified patients. Recommendations will not include modifications to the existing compliance framework as established in Vallejo Municipal Code 7.100. Once draft proposed ordinance changes are developed, a second Open City Hall topic containing the recommended ordinance amendments will be posted for feedback in advance of City Council consideration.
